Course Overview
This seminar is designed as an advanced educational opportunity for those working or interested in the forensic health care of elders in the context of mistreatment. The seminar is designed to provide an overview of laws applicable to elders, statistics on the prevalence of elder mistreatment, assessment and interventions related to the different forms of elder mistreatment as well as public health and prevention strategies to lessen the dangers to this vulnerable population.
