Course Overview
This course includes 60 hours of instruction. The focus will be on preparing students to write the Red Seal Certification Exam for Gasfitter Class B. Completion of this course does not guarantee the acceptance of your challenge application by Skilled Trades British Columbia. Please see Skilled Trades website for full details. This refresher course will also help prepare current Class B Gasfitters that are Technical Safety BC certified in their preparations for the Class A gasfitter training program. Harmonized B Gas training has jumped from 12 weeks to 20 weeks of in school training. If you completed your B certification under the old system (before the fall of 2022) you may want to take this refresher before enrolling in the schooling portion of you A Gas apprenticeship.
