Overview
This Microcredential will focus on Enterprise Networks and will expand on previous microcredentials in the Essentials of Data Networking and Switching and Routing. The focus will be on connecting the previously developed Local Area Networks together to form Wide Area Networks and understanding the associated technologies, equipment and configurations needed to implement Wide Area Networks. Configuration automation and software defined networks will also be discussed.

Application processing
Ongoing throughout the year.Recommended for success
- Successful completion of the Essentials of Data Networks (EDN) microcredential, or a course on Introductory Networking that covers 80% or more of the EDN learning objectives.
- Students with education or experience equivalent to that taught in Network Switching and Routing Microcredential
- Students are recommended to have some hands-on experience with networking equipment.
International applicants
This program is available to international applicants who will complete the program from outside Canada or who currently have a valid status in Canada other than study permit. International applicants accepted into this program are not eligible for a study permit.
Apply to program
Formal application to the microcredential is not required. Upon successful completion of the courses, email the program contact with your full name, student number, and mailing address to be issued a microcredential.
